Reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.
DERMAPLANING is a method of exfoliation that removes dead skin cells leaving your skin looking radiant with a more even skin tone and texture. It is popular among models and actresses as it also eliminates that annoying peach fuzz that shows up with makeup and can be enhanced by harsh production lighting and high-definition cameras. Dermaplaning also allows for greater penetration of skincare and gives excellent results when combined with our infusion masks.
Which exfoliation should I choose?
Dermaplaning safely scrapes off the top layer of skin, so it is well suited for drier skin types and anyone who wants to get rid of peach fuzz. Whereas Microhydrabrasion removes blackheads and deep blemishes and peels are for thickened or pigmented skins. Discuss with us any allergies or skin sensitivities before starting a treatment. Dermaplaning is a great treatment if you are pregnant or nursing and want exfoliation without the risk of chemicals.
Dermaplaning takes 45 minutes which includes cleansing and repairing, hydrating aftercare. $95
After the treatment, your skin will be sensitive to sun exposure so be sure to wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation.
This deep exfoliation should only be done every 21 days. It is a great chance to relax and stay still as we use a medical scalpel to remove the dead cell and peach fuzz. Many women are often concerned that shaving peach fuzz will make it grow back heavier and darker, but that’s just an old wives’ tale. Superficial vellus hair will grow back at the same rate and with the same texture as it was before the treatment. The benefit of dermaplaning over waxing is it doesn't affect the hair angle which then remains flat against the skin, requires no heat for sensitive skins and reduces infections in the pores.
